How can I customize Invoice Printout ?

Open Settings > Print > Invoice Templates. Choose your desired template and click Customize Settings associated under the “Invoice Templates” heading.

Various Invoice Templates available are

• General template, Company Letter Pad, Letter Pad, Compact – Laser and Ink jet Printer
• Dot Matrix template – Dot Matrix Printer
• Thermal Printer template – Thermal Printer

Laser & Ink jet Printer Template

Choose General Template / Company Letter Pad / Letter Pad under Invoice Templates and open “Customize Settings“. If you are going to print invoice in your Company Letter Pad, you can use the Company Letter Pad template.

In the case of the Letter Pad template, it is a sample letter pad with invoice style.

Fields	Description
Title Text	Enter the title of your Invoice here, Ex: Tax Invoice
Color	Choose the color for Invoice
Email color	Choose different color for Invoice to be sent to customer email from Books directly.
Font size	Choose the font size for the text in Invoice.
Orientation	Select the portrait / landscape orientation for Invoice
Margin	Set the left, right,top & bottom margin inch for Invoice.
Orientation	Select the portrait / landscape orientation for Invoice

Fields	Description
Paper	Choose the type of paper(A4 or A5 -various dimensions) in which you want to print/ view the Invoice.
Header	Set your company logo as header for the Invoice. Two options available are: Logo: Text with Logo Header Image
Header in All Page	Display header image in all pages of Invoice.
Due Date	Display due date in Invoice
Hide Vertical Lines	Hide the vertical lines appearing between each row/column.

Invoice Grid	Customizable options under Invoice Grid are: Serial No column – Display serial number column for Items. Item Description – Display Item description in invoice. SKU – Display Stock Identification Code (SKU) column in invoice. HSN/SAC Column – Enable to display HSN / SAC code as a column. Tax Detail Column Tax – To display tax calculations under the Amount column. Tax Detail – To display Taxable amount as a column in invoice.
Display	Display or hide the below options / columns in Invoice: Tax In Separate Panel – View tax details as a separate panel at the end of Invoice. Bank Details – Display ban details such as bank account name, number, IFSC code, etc. Print Date – Show the Invoice print date. Customer Sign – Add Customer Sign in Invoice. Include Signature – Display your authorial person’s signature. Add Existing Balance if exists – If there is a pending amount for Invoice, enable to display it. Qty – Display / hide Item quantity. Rate – Display / hide Item rate.

Dot Matrix Printer Template

Choose Dot Matrix Template under Invoice Templates and open “Customize Settings” to customize the options that you need not in Invoice display. The options available in Dot matrix Invoice template are similar to the options in general template except a few. The most notable settings in Dot matrix printer Invoice template is

Tear Off Settings(inch) – Set the tear off inch for dot matrix printout

• Reverse Feed
• Forward Feed

Thermal Printer Template

Select Thermal Printer Template under Invoice Templates and open “Customize Settings“. The customizable options in the Thermal printer Invoice template are similar to the general template. Only needed options are available.
