To import Customers from other systems
- Go to Manage > Customers / Suppliers
- Click the ellipsis icon on the top-right and select Import CSV

From the pop-up window,
- You can download the sample CSV file for field reference.
- Click Learn More for the field description.
- Select the file to be imported by clicking Choose file / Drag and Drop option.
- Click Import CSV.

Following is the description of the fields which helps you in inserting records.

| name (*) | Name of the Customer / Supplier (*) |
| company | Name of the Customer’s / Supplier’s company |
| csType | C – Customer/S-Supplier |
| Email ID of the customer / supplier | |
| contactPerson | This is the name to be displayed in the invoice |
| contactPersonMobile | Mobile number of the customer/supplier |
| taxNo | GSTIN of the customer |
| conTaxScheme | This field has three types. C-Composition Scheme/U-Unregistered/R-Registered |
| balance | Opening balance amount of the customer/supplier. If you’re using any other software, closing balance in that software can be set as Opening Balance |
| address1 , address2, city, StateName, zip, country, | These fields include the address that you use to send any correspondence to your customers. |
| phone | This field includes the telephone number of the Customer / Supplier, if any. |
Points to remember
- You can put your Customers and Suppliers on the same file by providing csType as C for Customer and S for Supplier.
- You can import up-to 1000 records at a time. If you have more than 1000 contacts, you can put them as a separate file.
- Don’t change the header column name.
- Contact name field is mandatory. You cannot leave this field empty.
