Configure SMS server in Output Books to send Invoices/Receipts, etc. to your customers via SMS. Quickly send SMS and provide instant updates to your customers on their transactions & payments.
Configure SMS Settings
- Open Settings > Company Settings.
- Click Edit under SMS Settings.
- Enter your SMS provider API URL in URL input field.
- Enter the right key, value of the parameters which is required by the provider.
You can grab that keys & values from your SMS provider’s API document page.

| Method | Choose the API Method using which you are going to retrieve data from your SMS server.

| Key | Enter your SMS API key(provided by your SMS server provider) here. |
| Value | Click on the ellipsis vertical icon and choose “SMS Content” or “Receiver No” value name. On selecting the value name, it will display it’s corresponding value as shown below. |
Configure SMS Content in Output Books
Setup default SMS content in Output Books using the Settings > Default Content option.
- Scroll through the modules present and select the right module like Quote/Invoice/Retail Invoice/Receipt etc
- Click on the “Edit” option associated with each module.
- Under the SMS Content box, enter the default SMS template.
- Click on the ellipsis vertical icon present there and use the appropriate API parameters needed for your SMS content.
- Hit “Save“.
Send SMS
Once you complete generating a Quote or Invoice or Delivery Challan or Receipt, click on the Send SMS option associated with each of them.
