Units
Units are the definite magnitude of a quantity. Units such as kilogram, metric ton, number of pieces or packs etc. can be created according to the user’s need.
How to add a new unit?
To add a new unit, click the “Add Unit button” on the top right and provide the details in the following fields
- Unit Name – Provide the name of the desired unit.
- Abbreviation – Give the shortcut form for the unit entered
- Unit Quantity Code – Give the standardized format for every unit of measurement
- Conversion Factor – Give the multiplier for converting the quantity expressed in one set of units to another equivalent unit.
- Active – Enable it to use the unit in invoice or quote
- Default – Enable it to set the unit as a default one(always necessary)
