Web App Installer

Introduction

Output Books is a web based application which can be installed on any web server, windows PC or can be hosted on service Providers.

System Requirements

The following are the requirements of your system to install Output Books,

Hardware Requirements

• Modern Processor
• HDD : 2 GB free space
• RAM : 2 GB or greater
• Network Connection with internet access

Software Requirements

• OS : Linux
• Full administrator Access
• Apache >= 2.4.7
• PHP >= 5.5.1
• MySQL >= 5.6.12

Installation Steps

1. Once you register and download the Web-App Installer zip package, extract the files and copy it to the respective folder based on your web-server.

For Windows : Copy in C:\wamp\www\

For Linux : Copy in .../var/www/html/outputbooks/

1. Run outputbooks (if name changed after copying the folder, provide that name) in your browser through

http://localhost/outputbooks/

1. Create a blank MySQL database as ‘outputbooks’ and provide the same during installation.
2. Read and agree to the terms and conditions

1. Check whether all the pre-requirements are installed and enabled.

You must have to fulfill the following Prerequisites, before installing Output Books.

I ) Installer requires write permission for the configuration folder.
II) PHP version should be 5.3.1 and above.
III) You need to enable the PHP extensions in php.ini. Those Extensions are:

a) Zlib Compression Plugin(zlib)
b) Zip Compression Plugin(zip)
c) XML Plugin(xml)
d) MySql Plugin(mysqli)
e) Jason Plugin(json)
f) Curl Plugin(curl)
g) PHP Scoket(sockets)
h) Output Books Plugin (Plugin will vary for Windows and Linux)

Windows Output Books Plugin

Set max_execution_time to ‘Zero’in php.ini

Open my.ini file, by right-clicking on WAMP Server → MySQL → my.ini and insert the line sql_mode="" in it.

After all plugins are enabled, you should restart Wamp to enable the settings.
In Installer home screen, all plugins should be enabled with “Yes” option and Next button is active to move next page of the installer.

Linux Output Books Plugin

Set max_execution_time to ‘zero’ in php.ini

Change the MySQL configuration in my.cnf by inserting the line sql_mode="" in it.

After all plugins are enabled, you should restart Xampp to enable the settings.
In Installer home screen, all plugins should be enabled with “Yes” option and Next button is active to move next page of the installer.

1. 1. Configure Database by choosing Database Driver, providing Host name, User name, Password, Database Name (name that you provide during the creation of blank database) and click Next.

1. 1. Provide the Login Details and License Key. Also, you are requested to remember Email and Password for future Login purpose then Click Next.

1. Now verify all the provided details and ensure that those details are correct and click Install. Otherwise, click Previous to edit details.

1. On successful installation of Output Books, you will lead to “Congratulations” screen, and you can continue to Output Books by clicking “Finish” button.

1. You will be directed to Output Books login page
