1. Create Export Invoice
- Go to Sales > Invoice > New Invoice.
- Choose Invoice Type > Export with Tax Payment / Export without Tax Payment (bond/LUT)
- Prepare an export invoice for every shipment.
- Include the following details:
- Exporter and consignee information.
- Invoice number and date.
- Exchange rate
- Description of goods, quantity, and value.
- Applicable HS Code and terms (FOB/CIF).
- Port of loading and destination.
2. Record Shipping Bill for the Export Invoice
- Link the Shipping Bill to the corresponding export invoice.
- Click Invoice Action menu > Shipping Bill.
- Include these details:
- Shipping Bill number and date.
- Port of export and mode of shipment.
- Export value and quantity.
- Scheme under which benefits are claimed (e.g., RODTEP).
3. Create Scrolls for Incentives, Drawback, and RODTEP
- Once the Shipping Bill is processed by customs, generate scrolls for:
- Export incentives.
- Duty drawback.
- RODTEP credits.
- Record the scroll details, including:
- Scroll number and date.
- Amount of benefit under each scheme.
4. Create Receipts for Incentives and Drawback
- When the incentive or drawback amount is credited to your bank account:
- Record the receipt in your financial records.
- Link the receipt to the respective scroll.
- Details to capture:
- Scroll reference.
- Amount received.
- Bank account details.
5. Convert Scrolls to Scrips and Maintain RODTEP Stock
- If required, convert the scroll to a scrip.
- Record the scrip details in the RODTEP stock ledger:
- Scrip number.
- Scrip issue date.
- Expiry date.
- Value of the scrip.
- Maintain a clear ledger to track:
- Available balance.
- Utilization history.
6. Purchase Scrips from Vendors
- If additional scrips are needed, purchase them from authorized vendors.
- Record the purchase details:
- Vendor name and contact.
- Scrip attributes (number, issue date, expiry date, value).
- Purchase price and payment details.
7. Sale of Scrips
- If excess scrips are available, sell them to other exporters or vendors.
- Record the sale details:
- Buyer information.
- Scrip attributes (number, issue date, expiry date, value).
- Sale price and payment receipt.
- Update the stock ledger to reflect the transaction.
